Agape Counseling Center at 175 South Main Street, Centerville, Ohio.

I went for my child's behavioral/emotional difficulties. Recommended by Dayton Children's mental health liaisons. My very first impression, from the business website, to speaking with the receptionists to make an appointment, to the facility's appearance, to the therapy techniques, showed that this company is disorganized, unprofessional, and out-dated. The staff is unfriendly and rude. I would not recommend this center.

Horrible people. Incredibly condescending staff who will talk down to you and insult you. We were referred there by our peditrician so that our son could get checked for a variety of issues centered around his struggling to read. Having no grasp on why we were there, they accuse my wife of trying to get them to diagnose my son to help her with a divorce?

So we give them our insurance, and for some reason they're having problem with the number, so they call and tell us "we gave them the wrong number". Not "the number we have didn't work", not "there seems to be a problem with your insurance", we personally gave them the wrong number like some kind of conspiracy. What business, especially a business that thrives on counseling, would accuse their customers like a child caught shoplifting?

They call me, seven freaking times, with a blocked number, and then take it personally that I didn't answer their message within 4 days as if I wouldn't assume a blocked number was a scam or something. The thing is, we were scheduled to meet with them the very next week, which means they only needed to wait 6 days to resolve these issues with us in person, but instead decided to barrage me with non stop harrassing emails that actually insulted my wife and demeaned me in the process.

Furthermore, three times they call me to confirm that dyslexia testing is something they don't do, even though the counseling services sent me a form with their name on top of the list. Yet... they couldn't tell my wife that in person when she came in. And once again, they were accusitory, like me assuming the referral my doctor told me to take was real was somehow my fault.

They told my wife no less than 5 times that they're "not in it for the money", but actions speak louder than words... no doctors office would act like they did the second they weren't able to extract money from our insurance company.

I've never met a company this crappy. To imagine they actually counsel people with this crappy attitude is mind boggling.
